I made a recent television appearance on Pepper & Friends with Linda McAnany to promote the 2009 United Way Campaign.
The 2009 United Way campaign is about to take off! Yes, it’s the time of year when 1000’s of people in Central Missouri will open their hearts to help the 25 agencies our Central Missouri United Way serves – over 8,000 people donated to last year’s campaign, and with any luck, this year will be over that.
The United Way is about me and you, it’s about helping over 90,000 people here in our back yard, and yes, just a dollar here and a dollar there is what will help us make our goal. Linda McAnany and I appeared on the “Pepper & Friends” show this past Monday, and Paul was very kind in giving us the opportunity to tell our story about this year’s campaign.
A special thanks goes out to the other co-chairman of this year’s campaign, my friend Warren Krech & to the dozens of volunteers that make up our campaign leadership team and are doing much of the heavy lifting out in the community for us – you guys are awesome!
